EMME MARI is a company created by women, with the founding principle of offering a unique style. We like to think that our femininity is synonymous with joy, sunshine and optimism.
This was the idea behind the creation of EMME MARI, and the values that lie at the heart of the brand –self-fulfillment, openness to the world, interest in beauty and creativity – are the pillars on which we are building the project.
Launched in 2022 by creative director Manuela Mari, the idea is to create a sought-after lifestyle brand that offers clothing and accessories with a limited production run.
EMME MARI is the channel through which Manuela is able to reinterpret, with a modern twist, the great textile tradition of Prato, learned in 30 years of private label production for major Italian and French fashion houses.
PRODUCTS
We are inspired by nature and its simplicity.
We like minimalist shapes and warm earthy colours; the regenerating tones of plants and Nature.
Our collections are designed in-house and produced by selected manufacturers in the Prato Textile District.
Since EMME MARI is a small family, we choose manufacturers who, like us, promote ethical values and respect in their companies. We are proud to have built a value chain that respects the people involved. We ensure that employees can work in a safe and healthy environment.
As we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of fashion, we have introduced natural and biodegradable fabrics, such as viscose, organic cotton and linen.
The fabrics themselves, as well as their processing, are chosen from the finest manufacturers in the district of Prato. We are proud to have introduced a KM30 supply chain, where all the artisans involved are within a small local radius.
We are committed to reducing waste throughout the supply chain. This is why we also use textile production offcuts that would otherwise be thrown away. We also have a three-year plan to completely eliminate plastic from our production.
